A snip from my Trip to Europe this summer.

You know when you come across a beautiful place you just can't get enough of it.This is true of the little village my cousin and her husband retired to a few years ago moving from the city of Dublin to Inistoige Kilkenny. Their house over looks this beautiful historic bridge with its ten arches, built in c.1765 .I photographed it when my daughter and I arrived in early July in the afternoon, sundown and into the next morning before we left to return to Dublin. I wanted to show the different looks that I saw in the 24 hrs I was there. I had been there 3 years ago so I got to know it a bit then but it was Hanna's first visit.
There had been a German film crew there the day or two prior who wanted to come onto their land to film but they said no them...so I was thrilled that they said yes to me!!
I am showing this just for a change instead of my regular portrait work to those of you who are landscapes enthusiast like myself. Their white home does stand out and I could show more but these are amongst my favorites along with the one that now is my FACEBOOK cover picture. Thanks Joan and Michael. Hope I get a chance to see it in the winter one year!!
