Peds Project at Hospital is Up

http://www.ckpg.com/news/9875-pediatric-photos-video.html

It took a year from start to finish but it is now up on the 2nd floor of the local hospital
in Prince George now called the University Hospital. I was asked to create a friendly home like atmosphere with images depicting children of all ages to hang in the entrance way to the Peds floor. One side shows children at different ages and their activities from a 3 week newborn to teens with their electronic toys hanging together. The other wall has two large canvases with the "bums" of 8 babies then 7 sitting babies in diapers along with some single/double images.
This took alot of effort from alot of people so thanks to all of you...and thanks Sandra Wyatt for asking me to do it in the first place. What is next?????

Kim and Krista came to me to make an image for their Mom of their children. Both of them had twins and yes we took this image at one time - no digital magically things happened in the taking of this image.
(that all happened afterwards)
The girls have the pink on are Kim's and the boys are Krista's.

March News....Prints Selected for Digital Salon

I attended the IMAGEQUEST 09 which included several speakers,a 2 day tradeshow and Digital Salon for Members but was open to any and all people interested in photography. In the Digital Salon two of my 4 images submitted accepted and those are the two childrens images seen here. Both are from Prince George families sessions I photographed in 2008. So thank you so much to all of them!! A little girl and her 3 brothers came up with the idea of being dragged behind the car. I took it from there adding the animation For the second image a previous student of mine gave birth to twin girls and her sister-in-law boys so together "Cousins"came to be a gift for their grandmother.
These images will go onto the next level of competition in May at the National Digital Salon in Saskatewchan.
I have also learned I receive my First Masters Bar (earned by service to the Association and having Prints Chosen for Salon).Unfortunately I will not be in Saskatewchan to receive it so will have to wait till next Feb.in Vancouver instead.
With these images I am introducing a new style in finishing images for clients who want a little different look. Ask about it when booking your next session!!
